If you enjoy a beverage every now and then, keep your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Empty your purse, your money belt, and leave all money, charge cards and checkbooks at home. Grab whatever money you expect to spend on beverages, tips and few dollars you expect to burn and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Just realistic. You might have a profit after a drunken night out with your friends and be blessed sufficiently to hit a long toss at a on fire craps table. Hang on to that story seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently consume alcohol and gamble. The two simply don’t mix.
Leaving your moolah back at the hotel might be a little bit excessive, but preventative actions for dramatic actions is a requirement. If you wager to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and gamble. If you are able to afford to be wasteful with your assets nary a worry, then drink all the gratis alcohol you can handle, but do not carry plastic credit and checks to throw into the mix of following squanderings after your befuddled brain loses all the cash!
Permit me to take this 1 step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump on to the internet to gamble in your favorite online casino either. I love to drink from the coziness of my domicile, but since I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards in close proximity, I can’t drink and wager.
Why? Although I do not drink to excess, when I consume alcohol, it’s absolutely enough to blur my better judgment. I wager, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. Both make for a decimating, and crazy, cocktail.
